A Message from our President

The Minority Issues Coalition is pleased to present its 2001 Multi-Cultural Resource Directory. We hope it will be useful to you. We want to acknowledge and thank the City of Boulder’s Human Relations Commission for providing the financial support to publish this Directory.

The Minority Issues Coalition has a long history of facilitating and promoting multi-cultural issues throughout Boulder County. We are committed to helping create a community that values diversity, and that is free from the harmful effects of racism. We work hard to prevent and mediate issues of racism by working with individuals and institutions to heighten awareness of the needs people have, and the challenges all people face in working and living together. We also emphasize the importance of culture and how that impacts people’s worldview and behavior.

This first addition is just one way we hope to promote greater harmony and working relationships within our community.
